The annual production of overseas crude oil operations by China National Petroleum Corporation reaches 75.82 million tons

The reporter recently learned from China National Petroleum Corporation that in 2010, China Petroleum's overseas crude oil production reached 75.82 million tons and natural gas production reached 13.7 billion cubic meters, an increase of 6.192 million tons and 5.5 billion cubic meters respectively compared to 2009.

During the 11th Five Year Plan period, China Petroleum's overseas business entered 7 new countries, winning bids and signing contracts for 30 oil and gas projects. Especially since 2009, the development of new projects has made significant strategic breakthroughs in the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Americas, laying a solid resource foundation for accelerating the development of overseas oil and gas business during the 12th Five Year Plan period and achieving the strategic goal of "half of the country".

As of the end of 2010, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) had four overseas oil and gas projects with a capacity of over 10 million tons. With the successive launch and completion of the China Kazakhstan crude oil pipeline, Central Asia natural gas pipeline, China Russia crude oil pipeline, China Myanmar oil and gas pipeline, and offshore liquefied natural gas import channel, the pattern of China's four major oil and gas import channels has basically taken shape. The investment and social benefits of refining business are significant. As of the end of the 11th Five Year Plan, there were 8 refining projects operating or under construction overseas, with a crude oil processing capacity of 16.6 million tons.
